🇨🇦 One of the big benefits of the touring lifestyle can be reconnecting with old friends. What a joy to meet up and hangout with Brian Doherty (musician, entrepreneur and Honorary Consul of Ireland to Nova Scotia). The symphony shows in Halifax provided a great opportunity to hangout and reminisce about the music business and how it has changed over this past few years. Brian is a fine example of a man who left Omagh and combined a successful career in music with a driving entrepreneurial spirit which has forged several successful business’s over the years. He showed us great hospitality along with his lovely wife Sheryl at his Signature Irish bar and restaurant The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse![]()

Even though Brian has left Northern Ireland over 40 years he continues to work tirelessly to promote and improve communities at home. He sits on various advisory boards who provide funding for various socio-economic projects providing regeneration and opportunities as a legacy to the peace process.
